NiteHawk Sweepers is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to join our Parts and Service team. The Customer Service Supervisor oversees a small team providing technical support and parts assistance to owners and operators of NiteHawk equipment across the country. This key position is responsible for supporting customers with a variety of technical needs, processing orders efficiently and accurately, educating customers on proper equipment maintenance, and driving parts sales.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Provide prompt and courteous technical customer service primarily by phone; occasional text, in person and/or email communication depending on customer needs.

  • Develop knowledge of all former and current product offerings.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of order entry, utilizing systems such as MRP software, Salesforce, Paypal and UPS.com.

  • Clearly communicate with customers on pricing, warranty, discounts, and product specifications.

  • Prioritize product sales and shipments based on customer and business demands.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues.

  • Assist with development of new programs, products and procedures to improve customer support and increase sales.

  • Manage and update parts web store.

  • During high demand, assist with pulling and shipping of parts orders.

  • Performs pre-destination inspections (PDIs).

  • Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to safety in all aspects of the job.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Commitment to solving customer problems

  • Proficiency with computers; ability to learn and operate fluently in ERP and CRM systems

  • Mechanically-inclined; able to interpret documents such as operating instructions and manuals

  • Self starter; able to manage own time and prioritize projects

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate required

  • 1+ year experience in sales or customer service required

  • 1+ year experience in automotive or related industry required

  • Forklift experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Work performed in and around an equipment manufacturing / production environment. Primary role is performed via computer and phone with customers. Occasional shop floor time may require lifting of small parts and/or assembling parts to fulfill orders during high demand times.
